MOSCOW. July 6 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a message of congratulations to his U.S. counterpart George W. Bush on the latter's birthday, the Kremlin press service said on Tuesday.
"I highly appreciate the warm, human relations, as well as good working relations, between us. They help us effectively resolve any problems on the basis of the principles of mutual trust, openness and predictability," the message says.
"In the coursen of our recent meeting at Sea Island, we approved specific steps aimed at expanding the Russian-U.S. partnership cooperation in the most varied fields. I am confident that by joining our efforts, we will reach our goals," says Putin's message.
