Saddam's lawyers are threatened

Last week’s alleged threats by Iraqi Justice minister Malik Dohan al-Hasan to Saddam defence lawyers to cut them into pieces if they come to Iraq, raised doubts that Saddam would get a fair trial.

Hellooooo. The Iraqi Justice minister is passing out death threats?

I can't imagine why that would make anyone think he might not get a fair trial.

He says he didn't say that, but he did say that Saddam should be executed. That's better. Now I'm sure it will all be fair.

al-Hasan - Why do so many of the punk politicians and media blowhards look alike?

With crazy clerics also offering to kill his lawyers, I'd say it's probably a safe bet he's not going to get a fair trial. A lynching perhaps. With a farce first.

Jesus. The world is full of jerks. And many of them have risen to the top positions of power. I am not encouraged.
