Torture Doesn't Work

If you need to enlarge that - just click on it. That's a comment posted to an earlier blogpost titled "Torture Doesn't Work". I brought it out here, because I doubt if any of the three people who read this blog go back and look for comments on past posts.

Michael Haltman (who has apparently done a mass search for blogs posting against torture to spread a mass link to his own, because I'm quite sure he's never read You Will Anyway before in his life unless it was by accident) would like us to know that a refusal to permit torture is an "incorrect principle," and despite all the evidence and expert testimony to the contrary, torturing other people is the only thing keeping us alive. We are also "extremely naive and holier than though [sic]."

Mr. Haltman would like us to "be afraid - be very afraid." Like he himself is, no doubt.

....but hey, be what you want....you will anyway.
