"Interpreting" the Constitution

Paul Kiel explains a pocket veto, which George claims he pulled off to kill the defense appropriations bill, but which in fact, probably never happened. The White House is just playing fast and loose with the Constitution again.

Read the article. It looks to me like George tried but missed the pocket veto. He should stick to what he does best: pocket pool.

Don't tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, don't tell them where they know the fish. --Mark Twain

....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.

Update: The Army Times says that the Army has halted the payment of bonuses pending passage of the bill. George is withholding money from the troops. I thought that was exactly the unpatriotic, if not traitorous, act he's been accusing Congress of.
