Perhaps the cosmic message is that we truly and irrevocably are a consumer nation, but I'd like to think it's something more spiritual. You may now consider and leave comments.

OMG! A comment on YWA? Thanks for winnowing through the chaff. It's all starting to sound like noise to me.
ReplyDeleteEither Obama or Hillary would be fine with me. Hillary certainly has some strong opposition, but I think if she & Nancy Pelosi got together & realized they have some power we could actually see some change. On the other hand; we're headed for some tough times, and I'm not sure anyone in The White House can do much about it.
well, thank you so very much for your comments.
ReplyDeletei think it is pretty much just noise, but a person can suffer trauma both emotional and physical from noise.
and i agree with you in very large part about that last sentence. we're headed downhill pretty fast now, and i think we've lost our rudder. seat belts or hands in the air, we're all here together careening through time and space.
some people (to quote a famous president) actually think there is a way to control things, though, and so they try. some people think they're at least in control of their own lives. i have a friend who likens such people to the little child at the theme park "driving" one of those cars on a track and steering for all his might.
i think that's pretty close.
blessings,
nice to see you here,
