I attended a product seminar today showcasing a $50,000 bit of technology that will let any company obtain all kinds of stats on visitors to the company's website. And I mean all kinds. It looked pretty handy and relatively easy, if pricey. At least for the marketing company - or whatever kind of organization you have that needs to know everything about your visitors - including passwords, bank accounts and social security numbers - whatever they need to type into your site - but not such a comforting thing for the end user (who doesn't know the company is using it anyway, so I guess what they don't know won't make them feel uncomfortable, eh?).
Tropical storm Humberto is currently making a bull's eye hit on Galveston, and my home computer doesn't always connect well to the internet when it's stormy out, so posting may be sporadic.
Check out the links in the sidebar if you're looking for current political events and commentary, if I don't manage to get much posted. Check them out even if I do.
....or hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
