The lying cod

Atrios has a couple of direct contradictions on record to The Oaf of Office's most recent attempts to distance himself from the traitor Chalabi, or the fall guy Chalabi, however you want to interpret what's happening.

It looks like The Oaf's got some serious pit sweat going on in that picture of him and the guy with whom he supposedly had only a brief and nodding acquaintance according to his recent remarks, but with whom he sat down to work out the future of Iraqi laws, according to a statement last February. So which is it?

Maybe he's sweating now, too.
