Excellent News

GALVESTON — New live oak trees are being planted along Broadway in Galveston, replacing the iconic trees destroyed in 2008 by Hurricane Ike.

The Galveston County Daily News reports 36 [...] are being planted in the median of the east end of the island city's main east-west traffic artery within the next few weeks.

We haven't had rain in two months and there's none in the forecast. I hope they've made plans for watering.
