ReplyDeletewhether chicago is the right choice or not, he wouldn't be going if it were any other american city. i assume he is planning to take up his career back in chicago when he revolves out of the white house door, and this will look good for him. and while the olympics are a wonderful thing, it wouldn't be a disaster if they were not held in chicago. there are, however, other looming disasters which, in my opinion, require some 24/7 attention.
the more i think about it, he just might be doing it even if it were not chicago. he does seem to relish in the limelight. we don't need a media star right now. we need a determined leader to stand up to tide of corruption and decay this country has been overwhelmed by.
