Finally today, Obama had something to say about Gaza, evidently flushed out by the bombing of a UN school, with dozens of children killed: “The loss of civilian life in Gaza and in Israel is a source of deep concern to me and after January 20, I’m going to have plenty to say about the issue.”
That’s nice. I hope he’s in time for there to be anything left.
Lebanese militants fired at least three rockets into Israel early Thursday, threatening to open a new front for the Jewish state as it pushed forward with a bloody offensive in the Gaza Strip that has killed nearly 700 people. Israel responded with mortar shells.
