Okay, well, question answered. This was a formal declaration. Did they sign something?North Korea is believed to possess one or two nuclear weapons and possibly more than eight. It has boasted to have transformed spent plutonium from reactors into materials for nuclear weapons, but has never formally declared to possess nuclear weapons.
And what's this about not possessing its nuclear arsenal forever? Well, probably not. Forever is a mighty long time. But I'd hang on to it for a while anyway, if it's for defensive purposes. At least as long as the U.S. is waving its big nuclear dick around.
