Post script to the coronation

Photo snagged from Maru (where all the good photos show up)
Go have a look at the other protest photos there.

And by all means, go have a look at this Fox News clip - Judy Bachrach, contributing editor at Vanity Fair, surprises the hell out of Fox's anchorwoman and blasts the inauguration beautifully. She won't be invited back. The film was originally offered by Oliver Willis. Go there and scroll down for a look at the cops pepper spraying protestors. The pictures are strange. You have to wonder why, if the protestors were behind such tall barricades they had to be sprayed. I did read somewhere that protestors had broken through the barricades, or gotten one section down, but I haven't seen photographic evidence.

Tom sent an email this morning that got me to thinking about the possibilities for our political future. It seems some folks were discussing the wisdom of impeaching Boy Blunder, considering that Oil Slick Dick would step up to the presidency in that case. As I rambled on about it, I found the good in that proposition...

In actuality, Cheney is already president, so impeaching Bush wouldn't change much - only which ugly mug stands in front of the camera most often. In fact, as evil as Cheney is, he doesn't butcher the English language or utter nonsense sentences. I think I might prefer to just have that big evil bastard stand out front, and be done with the imbicilic, pompous little prancing banana republic faux-general. Cheney would probably even eventually scare all those redneck red staters who are so happy with Dolt George because he seems like one of their own. So, yes, let's impeach L'il Weenie, and have at Big Dick.

I have a question about this picture. Is that a camera illusion or does he have tiny little feets?
