One Saudi fighter was killed and two Kuwaiti security officers wounded in a shootout on Saturday, which came five days after two policemen were killed in clashes with armed men in the south of Kuwait.
Kuwait, where about 25,000 American soldiers are based, has been cracking down on activists opposed to the presence of US forces in the state.
