New Hampshire GOP Withdraws Support of Fox Debates

In protest of Fox News’ excluding Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter from its GOP presidential candidates forum Sunday, the New Hampshire state Republican Party has withdrawn its sponsorship of the forum.

As a matter of fact, Duncan Hunter was in the top three in the Wyoming caucuses just held. (There was a Wyoming caucus?)

2008

I didn't watch Fox's Republican debate. It's much more palatable as a W3IAI summary.

The commentary there is funny and witty, but I'd just like to add one thing to one of the McCain quotes:

“On January of 2000 -- of 1981, Ronald Reagan came to power and raised his hand as president of the United States of America. By more than coincidence the Iranian hostages returned on that same day. I would employ some of his methods.”

Which methods is he talking about? Because it sounds like he's talking about the illegal ones, or maybe the ones where Reagan supposedly made deals with the Iranians behind the current president Carter's back.

....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.

And what hostages is he trying to free?

Is he as confused as I am about what he means? Maybe we need the question to understand the answer. Maybe.

Oh, and...

Fred Thompson skipped the debate to announce his candidacy on Jay Leno's show. Will he ever participate in a debate? I might have thought a Faux News debate would be a good safe place to work.

YouTube GOP Debate

The last I checked, there were only two candidates willing to participate (John McCain and Ron Paul). But, here's your chance to to submit a question. Click:
